Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. You must have a valid DC medical cannabis patient registration or an accepted out-of-state medical cannabis credential. Bring your digital or physical registration and an unexpired government-issued photo ID. If applicable, caregivers must also present their caregiver registration and photo ID.

  • DC residents 21 and older can self-certify without a doctor’s recommendation. Apply online through the ABCA Customer Portal or visit No Kids Allowed for in-store assistance. The process usually takes only a few minutes, and you can shop as soon as your temporary digital registration is issued.

  • Yes. Visitors 21 and older may use a current medical cannabis credential from a jurisdiction recognized by DC, along with an unexpired government-issued photo ID. Visitors without an accepted credential can apply for a temporary nonresident registration. Review the current DC reciprocity information before visiting.

  • Yes. Browse our online menu and submit your pre-order before visiting. Pre-orders are typically processed in less than 10 minutes. Please wait for your ready-for-pickup notification and bring your medical cannabis registration and matching government-issued photo ID.
